Actions

I'm learning to use action sets in PSE, and wanted to share what I learned. First I downloaded these for free. It took me a heck of a time to figure out how to install them at all. This tutorial really helped me.  Once I got them into PSE, I just tried them out on a few different photos. These are some of the outcomes I liked.

Senior Pics

WAY back in September or so, I took some pictures of my little sis who is graduating high school this spring. I am just barely finishing up with the editing, so I wanted to share a few of my favorites. She is a gorgeous girl-- inside and out.

Will you look at that sky?

I've been having some fun with photoshop tonight. I've always wanted to figure out how to do these two tricks, and I think I did. This is the SOOC (straight-out-of-camera) shot.



I wanted to take out the power lines and make the sky more exciting. So here's the finished product.



Perhaps a bit much, but it was a fun experiment. Oh, yes, and ten points if you can spot something else that's missing....

My Sweet Niece

I didn't get to meet this beautiful girl until she was a year old, but I have always been in love with her big brown eyes. This age seems to be a great time for pictures. They are busy doing their own thing, but not so fast that you can't grab a good picture of them. I am experimenting with layers and PS, so don't mind me as I overstylize everything-- but feel free to let me know what you think. And I am saving the originals....
